David C. Polyansky

David Polyansky is President of New Strategies Group, a general consulting and political public affairs firm. 

David is a strategist and attorney with professional experience in the political, legal, non-profit and advertising sectors.

Drawing on his experience as a Marine, Polyansky has developed a reputation as a tactical, forward-thinking, strategic counselor.  Known for taking on tough races, David has guided a number of candidates and campaigns through difficult environments and defying the odds. 

Today, Polyansky serves as the General Consultant for campaigns across the country, ranging from Gubernatorial, U.S. Senate and U.S. House races to issue advocacy programs.

He has served as a senior advisor to two presidential campaigns, along with leading major advocacy organizations such as the “FairTax” and the successful “Take Back New York” Victory Program in 2010 when Republicans recaptured the State Senate majority and gained more seats in the legislature than any other state in the country.

While serving as Chief Operating Officer for Americans for Fair Taxation, a national non-profict organization advocating a tax reform proposal known as te "FairTax," Polyansky crafted and implemented a successful national political, fundraising and grassroots growth plan.  The 2008 FairTax campaign was highlighted in National Review as "the biggest success story of the 2008 Republican primary season."

Polyansky is a six-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and in 2004 he took a sabbatical from his legal career to join Texas’ 1st Battalion, 23rd Marines for duty in Al Anbar, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II.

David resides in Houston, Texas with his wife, Kirsten, young children, Cooper and Eloise, and energetic 80 pound Labrador Retriever, Toro.

In the early stages of the 1984 general election major polls showed Ronald Reagan's re-election bid down double-digit points.  With Ed Rollins as Reagan's National Campaign Director the campaign recovered to win one of the most amazing election victories in American history, turning that 18-point deficit into an 18 percent advantage in the popular vote.  On Election Day the campaign won 49 out of 50 states and the highest number of electoral votes ever in the Electoral College.
